Another impressive game from Matthew Pellegrino has helped Shepparton Notre Gold to a 50-point defeat of Kyabram in Shepparton District Junior Football League’s under-16 competition.

Pellegrino sent through four goals in a best-on-ground performance as the Bombers were no match for the Bears.

Shepparton’s Max Rikys was also lively around goals, while Elijah Kilmartin, Declan Chapman and Jacob Watts led the way for the Bears who dominated at every contest.

Shepparton Notre Maroon was unable to secure the same result, but still put up a fight against Rochester.

The Tigers were quick starters in the match with Adam McPhee and Nathan Kay important, while Jayden Gagliardi sent through three goals for the Bears with Harrison Hallahan and Luke Damon highlights in the loss.

Mooroopna kept Tatura scoreless in the first and third quarters on its way to a big 105-point win.

Isaac Dowling dominated the match with a five-goal contribution, showing how lively he was in the forward line, while Jai Carn was also handy with four goals.

Darcy Russell and Jye Bazeley stood alongside Dowling as the Cats’ best, while Sean McAllister and Andrew O’Connell never tired for the Bulldogs.

Jhett Cooper, Mitch Roche, Adam Pummeroy and Archie Lewis combined for 10 goals with Reuben O’Loughlin superb in Shepparton United’s big win over Shepparton Swans Red.

The Demons took out the game by 14 goals, although Scout Matthews and Jack Smith tried hard.

Jack Evans and Noah Long were brilliant for Echuca Green with Kynan Sharpe-Long snapping six goals in the Murray Bombers’ 130-39 defeat of Shepparton Swans White.

Erion Barolli kicked four goals for the Swans with Bailey Jones and Lachlan Seddon also in fine form.

In a border struggle, Echuca Bombers got over Moama by five points with Murray Bomber Fraser Brooks kicking four goals and Ned Osborne did the same for the Magpies.
