Eloise Ashley-Cooper was in good form for Murray Bushrangers' youth girls side against Bendigo Pioneers.

Another dominant performance has allowed the Murray Bushrangers’ youth girls side to retain its perfect start to the TAC Cup season.

The Bushies burst out of the blocks against rivals Bendigo Pioneers, booting three goals to none with the breeze at Epsom Huntly Reserve.

With Finley’s Eloise Ashley-Cooper roaming the half-back line and Benalla product Bec Webster strong through the middle of the ground, the Bushrangers killed the round two match as a contest in the second term with two goals to one against the breeze.

If there was any doubt left as to which side was in control, it was erased after an extended half-time break due to warm conditions, as Mooroopna’s Tamara Smith and Shepparton Notre’s Sophie Damon ran riot to extend their team’s ascendancy to 52 points at the final change.

Shepparton United’s Charli Boschetti stood out in the tight last quarter with seven tackles, and despite not bagging a major in the stanza Murray was able to still run out 40-point victors.

Shepparton Notre’s Amy Duguid was among the best players, while home teammate Ada Chessor snagged a major in the victory.

Tali Verhoeven (Northern Angels) was also impressive.

The Bushrangers sit third on the table as one of four undefeated outfits, and take on Gippsland Power (eighth) on Sunday.

Murray Bushrangers 3.2, 5.3, 8.10, 8.12 (60) d Bendigo Pioneers 0.0, 1.0, 1.0, 3.2 (20)
