Karramomus has completed the ultimate finals series.
The side sealed the A3 season with the premiership flag on Saturday, after giving its all during the post season.
Just to progress to the grand final, Karramomus lifted last week in order to finish off top side Kialla Park in the preliminary final.
But there was still plenty left in the tank in a scintillating decider, as Karramomus claimed a thrilling contest against Bunbartha 5-45 to 4-42.
Karramomus laid the foundations in women’s competition.
The side claimed all three sets in women’s doubles, although wins were not easy to come by.
Stef Veal and Gwenda Metzke had their work cut out for them in the opening set when they ground out a win against Kellie Crosier and Liz Montgomery.
Veal returned alongside Ella Kerr for another gruelling win in the second set, while Metzke and Kerr were shown plenty of resistance from Montgomery and Susan Heyward in the third.
But the Bunbartha team stood strong in the 6-4 victory, as matches were equally as demanding in the men’s.
All three sets were decided by just a game with Alan Kay and Paul Veal tool Karramomus’ sole win, while Bunbartha’s Col Phillips, Bob Steen and Barry Hinchcliffe claimed the other two.
But Karramomus still took a four-game buffer into mixed action in a crucial margin for the outcome of the game.
Karra conceded two sets to its opposition, but Bunbartha was only able to pull back one game.
