Wood and could: Violet Town's Bill Wood did his best as lead in Keith Beaton's rink.

Toying with the shot: Hill Top's Greg Toy made up his mind and chose the right weight with which he delivered his shot.

Coming straight at you: Violet Town's Mal Delahey takes the right line.

Against tough opposition: Hill Top's Rob Ferguson sends his best delivery down in a rink dominated by Violet Town's Graham Jones.

Easy does it: Violet Town's John Duncan looks to make his bowl count.

Shepparton Park and Shepparton Golf lead the way in division two and Saturday was no different.

In a top four clash, the Parkers let nothing past them when coming up against Tallygaroopna.

Gavin Flanagan secured an 11-shot rink victory against Joey Lia, while teammate Don Dickinson had a closer tussle on his hands.

But after prevailing by three shots against Terry Lea-Whyte, the Parkers took the match 16-95 to 2-71 to remain at the top of the table.

Shepparton Golf also continued on its merry way towards finals and took a clean sweep of the rinks against Shepparton RSL.

Wayne Gribble continued his impeccable form for the season, as did teammate Robert Betson.

The pair accumulated a positive shot difference of 43 between them, as Golf took out the match 18-131 to 0-64.

One rink was enough for Mooroopna to defeat Tatura, 12-95 to 6-87.

Bruce Anselmi and his team were sensational against Jason Carter in a 31-shot victory that Tatura failed to offset, despite winning the remaining three rinks.

Conversely, a well-rounded approach from Euroa led to a victory and clean sweep of rinks against Kyabram.

In division three action, the top four played off against each other with top side Seymour too strong for Mooroopna Golf.

But East Shepparton had no troubles against fourth-placed Rushworth as East aims to make an impact in finals.

Shepparton Golf could yet make its way into the top four after keeping Shepparton Park at bay and Hill Top rounded out the division’s winners.

In division four, Murchison, Avenel, Shepparton Park and Kyabram secured victories.

Division five red had Violet Town knock off Hill Top on the Hillbillies’ own greens.

The contest between the two top four sides was skewed by the performances of Towners’ skips Ken Byrne and Graham Jones and their rinks.

Byrne allowed Hill Top’s Keith Smith just eight shots as he went on to secure a 14-shot victory.

Meanwhile, Jones was also superb in a high scoring rink, prevailing against Andrew Willaton 39-18.

Hill Top’s Raymond Rokahr got over the line against Keith Beaton to ensure the Hillbillies would acquire two points.

In the rest of the division’s matches, Mooroopna Golf cruised past Shepparton Park, while Nagambie and Seymour also enjoyed victories.

Every match in division five blue was close, but none more so than Tallygaroopna’s meeting with Colbinabbin.

The game ended in a 7-79 to 9-79 tie, with Colbinabbin’s Ramon Rathjen and Glenn Young bringing home two rink wins.

Stanhope prevailed against Tatura by four shots as Rushworth and Mooroopna also stayed composed to record victories.

East Shepparton continued to push for a division six finals berth after a stunning performance against Mooroopna.

Terry Kelly and Linton Reid led an impressive day for East, too strong by nine shots.

Stanhope, Kyabram and Seymour rounded out the winners.
