Picola District Football Netball League boasted of significant financial growth at its annual general meeting on Wednesday night.
League operations manager Shane Railton said $6500 was given back to its 17 clubs in the north and south divisions.
The cash back is the result of an operating profit of $84263, on top of $75807 last year.
The league’s total assets sit at $225952.
Railton said the league’s partnership with McPherson Media Group in live-streaming the two senior football grand finals had played a role in its success.
Finals gate takings were up in the north-west and south-east divisions.
Railton said the league was keen to live-stream more games next season.
Next year’s draw is yet to be finalised, but the north-west season is expected to start on Good Friday (March 30) with a game between Tocumwal and Berrigan.
Mathoura is looking to host a game during the Easter weekend, but has not found another interested club to play.
The south-east season could kick off on April 7, with a blockbuster grand final rematch between Rennie and Tungamah to highlight proceedings.
Shepparton East will be at home to Katamatite, Katandra, fresh from bringing in a number of quality recruits, will host Waaia and Katunga is set to face Dookie.
The north-west grand final will be held at Jerilderie on September 8, while the south-east decider will take place on September 15.
