Young Suns star Brodie Wooster was in fine form on Sunday, finding the back of the net twice for Goulburn Valley Suns' under-13s.

Sunday could not have started any better for the Goulburn Valley Suns’ juniors with the under-13s registering a staggering 6-1 victory over Nunawading on a big day of football.

Brodie Wooster and Gabriel Wundit found the back of the net on two separate occasions, while Gerang Kuol, who is currently in Japan, and Brodie Pena also scored.

The result meant the Suns won their seventh game of the season and currently sit in 12th position on the table.

Josh Dimit was the Suns’ only goal-scorer in their respective under-14s match.

The Suns’ juniors felt the full force of Nunawading at McEwen Reserve with the visitors prevailing 4-1.

In a hard-fought affair the juniors trailed 3-0 at half-time, before pegging one goal back in the second half.

It was mixed results for the under-15s and 16s with only one win between the two sides.

The under-15s prevailed 3-0 in a brilliant game of football thanks to goals from Moses Biemba, Daniel Casey and Ryan Coburn.

The under-16s were well short of the mark losing 7-3.

The Suns found themselves five-nil down at half-time, but two second half goals from Elijah Brooker and one from Kaine Humphries ensured they would get on the scoreboard.

The Suns’ under-18s could not reel in a two-goal deficit at half-time and went on to lose 7-2.
