Round 11 of the Kyabram District Netball League takes place on Saturday with Avenel looking to continue its streak, while Longwood is in search of an elusive win.
Reigning premier Avenel gave a netball lesson to Undera last week and it is Girgarre’s turn to try to find a way to stop the Swans.
Girgarre was outclassed last week and bouncing back will not be easy against the competition’s best side.
Undera host Merrigum in a battle between seventh and fifth respectively, with Kate Murphy looking to pull her side closer to a finals position.
The Lions may struggle if form is any indication, having lost their past four games, while the Bulldogs have won three of their past four.
Kait Carracher and Jacqui Martin are still in search of their first win as Longwood co-coaches.
Longwood has gone close on a few occasions, although last week they were comprehensively beaten 65-20 against Merrigum.
The Redlegs host Violet Town on Saturday, with the Towners raging off the back of their 57-31 victory against Ardmona.
Second-placed Nagambie will battle it out with Lancaster, with the Lakers looking to make it 10 straight wins.
Abby Misiti’s side lost its first game of the season to Avenel, but has cemented its status as a flag contender again.
Rushworth plays Stanhope to complete the round.
