Cricket Shepparton’s Twenty20 finals have been moved.

Cricket Shepparton’s Twenty20 finals have been moved.

Originally scheduled for Sunday at Deakin Reserve, the decider between Central Park-St Brendan’s and Mooroopna will be instead played on Thursday night.

The shift comes about because the junior semi-finals are booked in for Sunday and the association did not want to split attention between the two.

The Tigers will be looking to make it three Twenty20 titles in a row when they take on Mooroopna — the last team other than the Central Park-St Brendan’s to win the competition in 2013.

The Cats will be looking to capitalise on the move in days and venues, with the game to be played at Mooroopna Recreation Reserve.

Central Park-St Brendan’s booked their place in a 10th consecutive A-grade final in all competitions with a thumping win over Karramomus on Thursday.

They finished the three rounds as the only undefeated team after smashing the Bloods with more than five overs to spare.

Mooroopna will enter the decider coming off a defeat to Katandra after winning their opening two games against Kyabram and Tatura.

The Tigers will also feature in the lower-grade final, which will be played at the adjoining John Gray Oval at Mooroopna.

Murchison will be out to knock off Central Park-St Brendan’s in that game.

Both games will start at 5.30pm, with a barbecue and bar available for players and supporters.
