Ladder leader Old Students restricted Karramomus to 8-144 in day one of their Cricket Shepparton under-14 A-grade match.

Fletcher Paul was the star for Euroa, smashing an unbeaten 71 to guide the Magpies to a total of 167 against Mooroopna.

Nic Burke (39) impressed at the top of the order, while Ryley Issell captured two wickets for the Cats.

Numurkah was held to 6-127 from 45 overs against Notre Dame-St Brendan’s as Dustan Ebborn top scored with 33 opening the batting.

In under-14 B-grade, Darcy Murdoch’s unbeaten 60 saved Karramomus as the Bloods recorded 102 from 36 overs against Northerners.

The next best score was eight, as Aiden Bollard and Preston Hall picked up two wickets for the Jets.

Tatura is on track for a massive win after already gaining first innings points against Cricket Shepparton’s under-16 female team.

The girls side was bowled out for 41 in the 18th over, with Tatura replying with 0-178 from 29 overs as Will Russell (43 retired), Xavier Hutchinson (41 retired), Harry Trevaskis (40 retired) and Cooper Daniels (38 not out) all got among the runs.
