Plenty of action on track at Shepparton greyhound racing - Carl McGrath

February 04, 2017

Shepparton greyhound racing will see plenty of great action throughout the night, with five heats for grades 6 and 7 greyhounds featured.

Monday’s racing kicks off at 7.02pm, with the last at 11.02pm.

The Massina camp could be in for good night with two good chances.

Rirtakki and Nallak are both fast greyhounds and, although both have drawn poorly in the five box, both will be the testing material in races five and eight respectively.

Great to see Petite Senorita win again last week for Hazel Smart and back-to-back wins look a real possibility in the last on the card.

After showing blistering early speed last week, a repeat of that effort would see her on the podium again.

Last week the best tip won to secure the quaddie, so the pressure is on again this week.

The quaddie suggestion is in the first leg 2 and 5, the second leg go wide with 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

The third leg is 2, 3 and 7 and we will come home with 1 and 5.

I would suggest you also take a smaller quaddie as well, that being, five by field by 2, 3, 7 by five.

Greyhound enthusiasts are reminded of coming greyhound awards night on February 24, with a great night planned with a terrific meal, live music and few well-deserved awards to be given out on the night. Tickets are available from the club.

Selections: Race one: 8, 5, 4; race two: 8, 7, 5; race three: 6, 2, 5; race four: 2, 4, 5; race five: 5, 2, 1; race six: 8, 7, 6; race seven: 7, 2, 3; race eight: 5, 1, 4; race nine: 4, 8, 2; race 10: 2, 1, 7; race 11: 5, 8, 2; race 12: 4, 1, 2.
